Whether you require a holiday or short break Ollerbrook Barn offers a warm, welcoming and comfortable stay with the wild appeal of the spectacular Derbyshire Peak District scenery.

Dating from 1798, Ollerbrook Barn has been lovingly converted into a comfortable family run guesthouse. It is situated in the farming hamlet of Ollerbrook Booth, one of the ancient booths (settlements) forming part of the parish of Edale.

Ollerbrook Barn offers an ideal base for walking at any time of year, with footpaths leading directly from the garden to suit everyone from the beginner to the amateur mountaineer.

Edale is the starting point of Britain’s first and most famous long-distance path, the 270 mile Pennine Way.

The village has a shop, two pubs, a welcoming church, an information centre (and mountain rescue post!).

Despite its remote appeal Edale can be easily reached by road or by train on the Hope Valley line between Manchester and Sheffield, guests can be met at the station if necessary.

Whilst Edale is spectacular, there are many other attractions all but a short drive away, please see our Local Area page for more details.

At Ollerbrook Barn we welcome children of all ages. A cot can be provided by prior arrangement. We cater for vegetarians and can provide packed lunches and friendly advice to make your day trips complete. If you have any special requirements please let us know.
